As part of the Yale Global Health Initiative, sophomores and juniors with a demonstrated interest and commitment to addressing pressing global health challenges may apply to become Global Health Fellows through the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. As Global Health Fellows, students prepare for careers in global health by developing expertise and competence through coursework, participation in events on Yales campus, and a global health experience in the field, whether in the U.S. or abroad. Fellows complete an interdisciplinary course of study, research, and practice that address fundamental and applied economic, political, social, cultural, biologic, and scientific issues relevant to global health.
