Phelps Gate is a one-time Sudler-funded publication whose goal is to compile lots of diverse creative personal reflection on the relationship between Yale and New Haven.
We invite submissions from students, faculty, staff, administrators, alums, and anyone else who has perspective they'd like to share about Yale and the surrounding city!

Potential themes:
a story about a particular experience in the city; a broader narrative of your personal "Yale-New Haven relationship"; a profile of someone who has shaped your view of the university-city; your vision for university-city relations; an innovative, implementable idea related to these relations; poetry or photography covering any of these themes
Submission guidelines:
Who? Anyone who is familiar with both Yale and New Haven
How long? Between 400 and 1000 words
Final proposal deadline: November 1, 11:59 pm
