Come engage in a discussion with members of various black student groups on campus about how the HIV/AIDS epidemic affects people of color worldwide, including African-Americans, black women, and LGBTQs in the United States. The discussion will be followed by a brief talk from Gregg Gonsalves, a prominent HIV/AIDS activist, who will enlighten us about how we could get involved in fighting HIV/AIDS. The event is co-sponsored by the United Against Infectious Diseases, Black Student Alliance at Yale, Yale African Students Association, PRISM, Yale Black Womens Coalition, Yale West Indian Students Organization, KlibKreyol, and Minority Association for Pre-Medical Students.
