Please join MEChA de Yale in the conference "Youth Inherit el Movimiento: Youth Leadership through Art and Community Organizing". With speakers ranging from political muralist Maceo Montoya from California to local Fair Haven youth group 'Youth Rights Media' to the President of the Mexican-American Legal Defense Fund (MALDEF) Tom Saenz, this conference promises to offer a wide variety of perspectives on the role of youth in contemporary grassroots activism. Network with student representatives from Harvard, Cornell, Swarthmore, UConn, UPenn, and many other colleges that will also be participating in the workshops and presentations taking place on February 5th.
