REMEDY (http://remedyinc.org), Recovered Medical Equipment for the Developing World, is a 501 {c}{3} not-for-profit organization dedicated to actively promoting the recovery of unused medical supplies for the purpose of global aid, waste reduction, and cost-effectiveness. We seek to inspire and serve as a catalyst through education, practice, and example.
RYSA (REMEDY at Yale Student organization) is an undergraduate student organization which organizes and facilitates the medical supply recovery at the Yale-New Haven Hospital and supports REMEDY through fundraising, research, outreach service, and student coordination. RYSA is an official undergraduate organization at Yale and a member group of Dwight Hall. RYSA aspires to create a national university alliance of REMEDY chapters to expand the RYSA model of university-based REMEDY chapter across North America.
