The organization: Here's the quick lowdown on FIPAH, which stands for la Fundación para la Investigación Participativa con Agricultores de Honduras. They're a farmer's participatory research organization, also one of the coolest grassroots social changemakers out there, led by creative, generous, innovative people. And they want to work with students! Check out this website for some stimulating info. The project: FIPAH also invests in the youth of the community through youth research committees and by providing opportunities for vocational workshops and continuing education. Nourish-UNC has partnered with FIPAH for the last 3 years. This year, Nourish students will lead workshops for youth in Internet literacy, media production, marketing, and leadership.
