“Eleanora,” a one act musical written by Tara Sophia Bahna-James (TD’ 95) and composer Jonathan Portera will be staged at the Metropolitan Playhouse this month as part of Poe-Fest, a festival of new works related to the life and work of Edgar Allan Poe. It's an ethereal little piece about love and loss and is adapted from what may very well be the most uplifting story Poe ever wrote. You get 3 for the price of one, as there are two additional one acts on the bill.
