The Public Service/Social Justice Committee of YAAMNY is partnering with the 92nd Street YM-YWHA's Ford Motor Company International Fellowship Program (www.92y.org/content/ford_fellows_about.asp). This year the Fellowship will bring 16 accomplished international community leaders from all over the world, including Egypt, China, India, Israel, etc. for an intensive nonprofit leadership and management training program. Fellows are leaders in the NGO sector addressing issues, such as homelessness, domestic violence, lack of education, lack of access to health care, whose resolution will have a significant positive impact on their communities, on their countries, and, collectively, on the world. As part of the Fellowship, the Fellows will be participating in dinner forums which consist of (a) each Fellow doing presentations of their respective countries; (b) informal meals; and (c) discussions between the Fellows and other participants. We are seeking up to three alumni to participate in each forum. In particular we are looking for alumni participants who have worked or who are interested in working with international organizations, or who have a general interest in international affairs. 2010 Ford Fellow Dinners and Country Presentations at the 92nd Street Y MALI - Wednesday, June 9 EGYPT - Sunday, June 13 THAILAND - Monday, June 14 CHINA - Tuesday, June 15 ISRAEL - Wednesday, June 16 INDIA - Thursday, June 17 International Alliance of Research Universities Wine and Cheese Reception
