YAAMNY is excited to bring you an amazing opportunity.  LUSH LIFE is a new, exciting exhibition creating a lot of buzz in the art community, and was recently featured in the NY Times. Curated by Franklin Evans and Omar Lopez-Chahoud, LUSH LIFE takes place at nine Lower East Side galleries and adopts Richard Price's 2008 novel to title and organize the exhibition. The Summer Institute for the Arts (SIA) offers a unique community service opportunity for Yale alumni to work with students in the Arts. We need volunteers to mentor, provide and/or assist with creative workshops, and facilitate field trips/ chaperone middle school students who would otherwise not have the opportunity.  This program is co-sponsored by the Yale Black Alumni Association and YAAMNY.
