YAAMNY's mission is to promote a sense of community for all Yale alumni in the New York metropolitan area as well as to nurture�among alumni and their communities the culture and values that brought us together at Yale.

The core operations of YAAMNY shall be to:

• Facilitate and�create opportunities for alumni to gather, exchange ideas and�launch�programs�for life-long learning;
• Maintain the online center for communication and promotions open to all alumni communities in New York and their diverse enterprises and creative endeavors;
• Deploy Internet tools to facilitate collaboration among YAAMNY leaders and other Yale volunteers in New York;
• Support and develop opportunities and programs for our membership to serve our communities and the public interest;
• Partner with�AYA on programmatic, operational and communications initiatives in our continued pursuit of Yale's mission in the world.
